How does the "Social Sharing Marketing Tool" work?

The Social Sharing tool lets your guests share your TravelNet offer with their friends on social media. You choose which platforms to show, write a short message, copy the code, and place the share button on your page. Every new signup from these shared links becomes a lead for you.

Before You Start

You will need:

Active Marketing Tool

An active Marketing Tool in your My Marketing Tools section

Your Website Access

Access to your website builder (e.g. Wix, WordPress + Elementor, Cornerstone, etc.)

Editing Permission

Permission to edit the page where you want the tool to show

Step-by-Step Guide

Open your Marketing Tool detail page

Log in to https://app.travelnet.id
Click the bar chart icon in the left menu to go to My Marketing Tools.
Click on the tool instance you want to use (or the Detail button) to open its detail page.

Go to the Social Sharing integration

On the tool detail page, look at the right side of the screen.
You will see several integration options (Embed, Button, AutoPopup, Exit Intent, Social Sharing, etc.).
Click on “Social Sharing Widget”.

Open the Social Sharing settings window

A new window or panel opens.
At the top, you see short instructions explaining how social sharing works.
Below, you see settings you can change.

Choose which social platforms to enable

You will see a list of social platforms (for example: Facebook, WhatsApp, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
Tick or switch on the platforms you want your guests to use.
You can enable one platform or several at the same time.

Write the share message

Below the platform list, you see a text field for your share message.
This is the text your guests will share with their friends together with the link to the offer.
Keep it simple and personal. For example:
- “I’ve just joined this amazing Dream Trip contest. You can join here too:”
- “Get your own 2GB free eSIM for your next trip – I just did.”

Copy the Social Sharing code

In the same window, you will see a code box.
This code connects your share buttons to your TravelNet offer.
Click inside the box and copy the full code, or press the Copy button if there is one.

Open your Website Builder

In a new browser tab, log in to your website builder (Wix, WordPress, Cornerstone, Elementor, etc.).
Open the page where you want the TravelNet tool to appear (for example, your home page or a campaign page).

Add a “custom code” or “HTML” element

In your website builder, look at the list of elements or widgets.
Find an element named something like:
- “HTML”
- “Custom code”
- “Raw content”

Paste the Social Sharing Embed code

Click on the new HTML/custom code element you just added.
Paste the embed code you copied from TravelNet into the field.
Save or apply the changes inside your builder.

Save and publish your page

Click Save and then Publish/Update in your website builder.
Open the page in a new browser tab.

Test the Social Sharing flow

On your live page, click one of the social icons or share buttons.
Your chosen platform (for example WhatsApp or Facebook) should open with:
- Your message text
- A link to the TravelNet offer.
Send it to yourself or a test contact to make sure it works.
