How does the "QR Code" Marketing Tool work?

The QR Code tool gives you a unique, trackable QR code for each Marketing Tool instance you create. You download the code as an image file and place it wherever guests can scan it (front desk, lobby, buses, rooms, tours). Every scan sends people to your TravelNet offer and turns them into leads for you and the Alliance.

Step-by-Step Guide

01

Open your Marketing Tool detail page

  • Log in to https://app.travelnet.id
  • Click the bar chart icon in the left menu to go to My Marketing Tools.
  • Click on the tool instance you want to use (or the Detail button) to open its detail page.

02

Find the QR Code integration

  • On the detail page, look at the right side of the screen.
  • You will see your integration options (Embed, Button, AutoPopup, QR Code, etc.).
  • Below you will find your unique QR Code

03

View your unique QR code

  • A QR code image will appear.
  • This code is unique to:
    • You as a business, and
    • This specific tool instance.
  • That means every scan is tracked to this exact placement (front desk, tour, bus, etc.).

04

Download the QR code image

  • Below or next to the QR image, click the Download button.
  • The code will download as an image file to your computer.

05

Check the file on your computer

  • Open the file to make sure the QR code is clear and not blurry.
  • You can test it by scanning it with your phone camera.
  • It should open your TravelNet offer page.

06

Use the QR code in your real-world touchpoints

  • Now you can print or display this QR code wherever it makes sense for your business.
  • Some common ideas:
    • On a promo sign at your reception desk
    • On your lobby screens or digital signage
    • On key card sleeves or welcome folders
    • On a table tent in your restaurant
    • On flyers, vouchers, or tickets
    • On an iPad you hold up when a tour ends
    • On your transport vehicles (inside the bus or car seat backs)

07

Explain the value to your guests

  • Next to the QR code, always add a simple text line, for example:
    • “Scan to join our Dream Trip contest.”
    • “Scan to get your free eSIM for your next trip.”
  • This makes it clear why they should scan.
