How do I edit, pause or delete my Marketing Tools?

You manage all your Marketing Tools in the My Marketing Tools page.
There you can edit a tool, pause it (turn it off for a while), or delete it (remove it completely). Paused or deleted tools stop working, even if the QR code or button is still visible on your website.

Step-by-Step Guide

Open “My Marketing Tools”
 
  • Log in to your TravelNet Alliance account.
  • In the left menu, click the bar chart icon.
  • This opens your My Marketing Tools page with all tool instances you have installed.

Find the tool you want to change
 
  • Scroll through the list until you find the tool instance you want to edit, pause, or delete.
  • Remember: each instance is one specific use (for example “Website Home Banner” or “Front Desk QR”).

To edit the content or setup of a tool
 
  • On the tool card, click the Detail button (or click the tool name, depending on your layout).
  • You will be taken to the detail page of that tool instance.
  • Here you can update things like:
    • Texts or labels (Coming Soon)
    • Settings for how the tool behaves
    • Links, images, or other configuration fields (Coming Soon)
    • After making changes, click Save

How to pause (deactivate) a tool
 
  • On the tool settings page, look in the upper right corner for an option like Deactivate.
  • Click Deactivate to pause the tool.
  • What this means:
    • The tool stops working in the background.
    • New scans or clicks will no longer collect leads.
    • The instance stays in your list and you keep its statistics.
    • You can reactivate it later from the same settings page.

How to delete a tool completely
 
  • On the same settings page, you will also see an option like Delete.
  • Click Delete if you want to permanently remove the tool instance.
  • You will usually be asked to confirm this action.
  • Very important:
    • You do not lose the leads you already collected.
    • But you do lose the statistics for this tool (for example, comparisons with other tools).
    • The tool instance will disappear from My Marketing Tools.

What happens on your website and channels
 
  • Pausing or deleting a tool in My Marketing Tools does not automatically remove its QR codes, buttons, or embed code from your website or emails.
  • After you pause or delete a tool:
    • The QR code or button may still be visible on your site or print materials.
    • But if someone scans or clicks it, it will not work correctly anymore.

Clean up your website and other placements
 
  • To fully remove a tool:
    • Go to your website editor, email templates, screens, or printed materials.
    • Remove the embed code, link, or QR image that belongs to this tool.
    • This prevents travelers from clicking on dead links or non-working campaigns.
