How do TravelNet Marketing Tools work in general?

TravelNet Marketing Tools help you turn travelers you already reach (website visitors, guests, tour clients) into leads and data. They do this with simple things like QR codes, buttons, or widgets that link to an attractive offer. Every new sign-up becomes a lead for you and for the shared Alliance lead pool, and earns you marketing credits.

Step-by-Step Guide

01

Understand what a TravelNet Marketing Tool is

  • A Marketing Tool is a small lead-generation “engine”.
  • It can be a Dream Trip campaign, a partner deal (like a free eSIM), or another special offer.
  • The goal is always the same: turn attention by value add-ons into leads and earn marketing credits.

02

You activate the tool in your Alliance dashboard

  • In the Marketplace, you pick a tool and install it.
  • Once installed, it appears in My Marketing Tools as a separate “instance” with its own name (for example, “Hotel Front Desk – Dream Trip Guatemala”).

03

The tool gives you simple integration options

  • Each tool provides you with things like:
    • A QR code
    • A link or button URL
    • Sometimes an embed code for your website
    • and more...
  • You do not need heavy tech skills.
  • You just place the alliance deal where travelers already see you.

04

You place the tool in your real-life and online touchpoints

  • For a hotel, this could be:
    • QR code at the front desk
    • Printed on the key card envelope
    • Included in pre-check-in emails
    • In your email signature
    • On screens in the lobby or in-room
    • As a banner or widget on your website
  • For a tour guide or attraction, this could be:
    • QR code shown on a screen
    • Printed on a flyer or ticket
    • Link in confirmation emails
    • Button on your booking or thank-you page

05

The traveler scans or clicks to see the offer

  • A traveler sees your QR code or button.
  • They scan it with their phone or click it on your website or email.

06

The traveler signs up and becomes a lead

  • On that page, the traveler is asked to opt in and share basic details (for example: email, name, sometimes preferences).
  • When they confirm, three things happen at once:
    • They join your own email marketing list.
    • They join the shared TravelNet Alliance lead pool.
    • You earn marketing credits for bringing that lead into the Alliance.

07

You earn marketing credits with every contribution

  • Every time a traveler signs up through your tools, you get credits.
  • Over time, you build a credit balance.
  • These recurring credits are your “currency” inside the Alliance and can later be used to reach new, matched travelers from the shared pool, every month.

08

You keep access to your own leads

  • All leads you help generate can always be accessed in your own email list.
  • This means you can:
    • Run your own newsletters
    • Send offers, updates, and follow-up campaigns
  • So you benefit twice: you grow your own audience and help grow the Alliance reach at the same time.

09

You turn “lost traffic” or unused inventory into value

  • Normally, many people visit your website, look around, and leave without booking.
  • With a TravelNet Marketing Tool (like a Dream Trip banner), you can give them a reason to sign up even if they don’t book now.
  • This turns “lost” visitors into warm leads that you can contact later.

10

You monitor and improve over time

  • In My Marketing Tools, you can see how each tool is performing.
  • You can test different placements and names (website vs. front desk vs. email) and see what works best.
